This Saturday morning is the free monthly “Meet the Farmer” event at Chestnut Hill Farm. Farm Manager Desiree Roberton-Dubois tells me that this month, the activities are “all about the chickens”.

Thinking about getting some chickens for your backyard? We will get up close and personal with our chickens and talk about basic chicken care, housing, feeding, predators and common issues.
We will have a chicken inspired craft for kids and an egg tasting (not raw- we promise).
The fun lasts from 9a-12p and our Farmstand will be open as well.
