Don’t panic, but this is the last week to sign kids up for any camps through Town Rec.!
Here are your choices:
Registration for one-time specialty camps the week of August 15th are due by August 12th. Those are:
Skyrise Theater Camp (ages 5-14) 9:00 am – 1:00 pm @ Trottier Middle School
The week’s production is The Red Cape “a musical parody of Little Red Riding Hood”
children will rehearse, produce and perform Red Cape at the Trottier Auditorium. Be ready to move and have fun with theater games and exercise. Costumes, make-up and scenic backdrop will make for an exciting performance by all.
KIDS on the Run! Intro to T&F w/Mr. McCabe (grades K-3) 9:30 – 11:30 am @ Trottier Middle School
Join Mr. McCabe on the track! Learn how to high jump. long jump, shot put, sprint and run!
The final week before school (August 22nd) only one camp is still available – Junior Golf for ages 7+. (Sign up quick, there are only 5 spots):
Children will enjoy a fun week of golf to develop correct swing mechanics, and they will become better players. A combination of instruction, imitation and fun exciting games will keep their interest level high. Putting, chipping, full swing, on-course instruction, etiquette and rules of golf will be covered. Program includes individual attention, video analysis, short game instruction, full swing instruction, flexible schedules, fun games and refreshments. Golf clubs will be provided if needed along with golf balls, snacks, refreshments and prizes.
