Algonquin had a strong start to the fall season, racking up wins. Girls Volleyball scored two victories and both Boys and Girls Soccer won their opening games. The only varsity loss was Golf’s squeaker of a first match (198-200 Wachusetts), followed by their win against Nashoba later in the week.
Field Hockey had no victories, but also no losses. They had 1-1 draws in both games last week. Below are some great action shots from the season opener by Chris Wraight. (Click to enlarge):

The season start was postponed for Cross Country. That reschedule means a long opening day for the teams this Saturday with morning and evening meets.
