Kids who love Sesame Street will want to head to the Southborough Library next week.
On September 23rd at 10:30 am, the Children’s Room will become la la la la. . . la la la la. . . Elmo’s World. (Forgive me. I have the little, fuzzy muppet’s song stuck in my head.)
Elmo will be visiting the library. (Actually, it’s a giant version of Elmo – not like the one on the screen who is the same size as tots.)
Children will be allowed to pose for pics, so be sure to bring your cameras (or smart phones!)
The event is sponsored by the MEFA U.Fund as part of their Start U. Reading Series
Bring your preschool-aged child and watch a literary character come to life in the U.Fund Start U.Reading program. Children will hear stories and then have the opportunity to meet popular book character Elmo. Families will hear about reading at home and upcoming fun library activities, and parents will leave with information about saving for college.
