Southborough Recreation is happy to share that the Neary Courts are resurfaced and have features making them better than ever for community use.
The courts are done! Nets are being hung up and courts will be ready to use as of tomorrow (10/26).
Tennis players come out and give the new court a try, that’s if you’re brave enough to endure the chill.
The project was mostly funded by CPA funds (Community Preservation) as well as contributions from the Recreation Department, Friends of Recreation and USTA (US Tennis Assoc). The courts have blended lines for youth tennis as well as pickle ball lines. The work was contracted through Sport Court New England and installed by Court Builders of America.
Thank you Community Preservation Committee (CPC) for your support. I look forward to moving onto the Fay Memorial Playground project, which is also supported by CPC.

The courts at Neary (and Finn) are available to any Southborough residents for free recreational use any-time (as long as not in use by a class).
Thanks so very much to Southboro Recreation,
CPA, USTA, Friends of the Southboro
Recreation and any others that had a part
in getting the Courts at Neary redone. It was
a long journey but well worth the wait!😊
Thanks Doreen for pushing the project.
Now how about Pickleball lines on one
Court.
According to the notice, both courts have them!
Hi Pat, yes it has been a long time for the project to be done. I added 2 pickle ball outlines on the first court as you walk in. Enjoy!!
