In my weekly post on Week in Government, I always include the caveat that schedules can change. But once in a while, a meeting that pops up or changes is important enough to share.
Those of you looking for the Board of Selectmen meeting last night might have seen that it was cancelled. But you may have missed that it was rescheduled to later this week.
Selectmen will be meeting on Thursday night, 6:00 pm at Cordaville Hall (aka the Southborough Senior Center), 9 Cordaville Road. (The Zoning Board of Appeals is using the Town House Hearing Room for their 7:00 pm meeting that night.)
The agenda still includes the following highlights:
- Address petition to remove Leo Bartolini from ZBA
- Consider new employee benefit policy
- Discuss preliminary FY18 budget
- Discuss proposed Truck Exclusion Studies on Parkerville and Deerfoot roads
- Discuss Master Plan Committee for St. Mark’s Golf Course property.

I’m waiting for confirmation that Southborough Access Media will be able to record the meeting. But even if they can, it won’t be for a live broadcast. (The ZBA will get that honor, since the Hearing Room is equipped for that.)
While I’m sharing changes, those of you who follow the Economic Development Committee should know that they will be meeting Thursday morning at 7:45 am in the Town House Hearing Room. You can see that agenda here. Highlights include discussing next steps for the committee following Town Meeting’s vote to abolish the IDC.
