Over 1,000 runners and walkers took time out of their Thanksgiving morning over to participate in the 10th annual Gobble Wobble.
As usual, the 5k race sported a mix of serious runners and those trotting for fun. There was also a wide range of ages. Out of 975 runners, Close to 90 were listed as under 10 years old and almost 150 in the 50+ group. You can find the race results here. (Congrats to Grant Guttuso. In 8th place, the 15 year old had the best time for a hometown runner.)
Another 77 participants took on the 2 mile walk. And I don’t have an official count, but a good sized group of kids enjoyed the fun run.
As has become a tradition, several participants sported festive attire. I got far too many photo contributions to share them all on the blog. Below are my favorites.
