The Southborough Library is again working with the Worcester County Poetry Association. The Library is holding a two-part poetry workshop this month.

This time around, the theme is “Shipwrecked & Sleeping”. The sessions are again facilitated by Heather J. Macpherson:
We will study poems by these two brilliant poets while focusing on two extremes, love & dispair. [sic]. . .
Together, we will engage in latitudinal poetry writing exercises while attempting to find a balance between the emotional sovereigns.
The workshops will each be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesdays, focusing on a specific poet:
- February 8: Federico Garcia Lorca
- February 22: Pablo Neruda
Participants will “look at the techniques used in select poems by these poets and through discussion generate new work.”
