Southborough Recreation is seeking experienced babysitters, high school age and up. They’d like volunteers, but are willing to pay.
On the evening of March 8th, Southborough voters are requested to participate in a Special Town Meeting. The Town is hoping to make that easier for voters with children by offering babysitting. But to do that, they need babysitters.
Southborough Recreation has put out the word that they are looking for about 10 sitters. The evening can be used as volunteer hours, or sitters can receive a stipend.
The meeting opens at 7:00 pm at Trottier that Wednesday night. But Rec is looking for sitters from 6:00 – 10:00 pm.
While they are at it, the department is putting out feelers for Annual Town Meeting in April. That date hasn’t been officially announced. Selectmen discussed moving it to later in the spring than usual, based on a series of conflicts (beginning with Passover and Holy Thursday).
