The Open Space Preservation Commission had asked me to promote their second Winter Wonderland event this weekend. But Mother Nature interfered again.
That’s OK. They’ve come up with other fun, non-sledding activities for the farm. Now the focus is on flying kites and a nature walk.
They only have a few kites to share, so residents are encouraged to bring their own.
Because this event is sponsored by the OSPC, it’s free to the public.
The event takes place from noon – 3:00 pm, with a guided nature walk at 1:00 pm.
The forecast looks good for a nice walk on Sunday. But be sure to dress for mud (and maybe a remaining trace of snow).
