In case you missed it earlier this month, I’m re-running my post on the annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday. (It looks like a gorgeous morning for it.)
Southborough Kindergroup’s Easter Egg Hunt has become a fun community tradition.
The lawn teems with children rushing around the lawn scooping up plastic eggs and looking for the “golden egg” prizes.
Babies toddle along, pick up an egg and plop down to inspect their plunder.
What changes year-to-year is the registration information. This year, fees are being collected to support rebuilding of the Fayville playground on Central Street.
This year, to join the hunt families are asked to pay $5/child or $10/family. (Payment will be “at the door”, so no pre-registration is necessary.)
The fun is set again for the day before Easter – Saturday, April 15.
Festivities will begin at 10:30 am with the chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. (Bring your own camera.)
The “hunt” (really more of a plunder) begins at 11:00 am. (Bring your own basket to collect kids’ bounty.)
This year’s fun also includes music by Mr. Dave and Hit the bus.
Per tradition the event is scheduled to be held on the Community House lawn.
(If there is a need for backup plans due to weather concerns, they’ll announce that closer to the date.)
