Early yesterday morning Southborough Police responded to a break in at Cumberland Farms on Route 9. On Friday, the rear window of a car at St. Mark’s School was smashed. If you have any information on either of those investigations, please contact the SPD.
On Sunday, the alarming sounds and signs of possible gunshots and a fire were discovered to have less alarming causes.

Thursday, April 27, 2017:
- 0104 hrs – An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious male party outside of a Turnpike Road business. The individual checked out ok, and was sent on his way.
- 0620 hrs – Officers investigated a possible road rage incident on Deerfoot Road.
- 0859 hrs – Officers investigated a report of possible gun shots in the area of Jericho Hill Road. Responding officers reported back negative findings.
- 0944 hrs – A medical was reported at an Oregon Road residence.
- 1101 hrs – A medical was reported at a Newton Street business.
- 1107 hrs – A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1245 hrs – Solicitors came in to register at the police station.
- 1252 hrs – Solicitors came in to register at the police station.
- 1318 hrs – Solicitors came in to register at the police station.
- 1348 hrs – A medical was reported at an Ashley Road residence.
- 1638 hrs – Officers investigated an accidental 911 call from a Newton Street business.
- 1724 hrs – A medical was reported at a William Onthank Lane residence.
- 1726 hrs – Officers responded to the Turnpike Road area to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
- 1926 hrs – Officers assisted Westborough Police with booking a prisoner at the police station.
Friday, April 28, 2017:
- 0118 hrs – A medical was reported at a Leonard Drive residence.
- 1536 hrs – A motorist reported that someone had smashed the rear window of their motor vehicle, while the vehicle was parked at the St. Mark’s School. The responding officer is currently Investigating the incident.
- 1543 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Ledge Hill Road residence.
- 1552 hrs – An officer took an Identity Theft report in the lobby of the police station.
- 1842 hrs – A motorist from Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
Saturday, April 29, 2017:
- 0037 hrs – Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked outside of a Turnpike Road business. The vehicle and the operator checked out ok.
- 0934 hrs – Solicitors registered at the police station.
- 1102 hrs – Solicitors registered at the police station.
- 1238 hrs – An officer assisted at the Transfer station with an illegal dumping report.
- 1540 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 1618 hrs – An officer responded to the Red Roof Inn to take custody of a firearm that was left behind by a guest. The responding officer is currently conducting a follow-up Investigation of the incident.
- 1634 hrs – A medical was reported at a School Street residence.
- 1728 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Barn Lane residence.
- 1749 hrs – Officers investigated a report of an intoxicated person in the area of Boston Road. The responding officers reported back negative findings.
- 2250 hrs – Officers conducted a requested well-being check of a Central Street resident.
Sunday, April 30, 2017:
- 0701 hrs – An officer took a report of a possible missing person from a town resident. The individual was located a short time later.
- 0958 hrs – A resident of Richards Road reported vandalism to yard signs in the area.
- 1310 hrs – Officers investigated a traffic complaint on Middle Road.
- 1354 hrs – Officers responded to a Southville Road residence to investigate a report of a possible fire and gunshots in the area. The noise and smoke were determined to be coming from an Ashland residence, where the homeowner was working on their motorcycle (smoke and backfire). Ashland Police were advised of the incident.
- 1424 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Joslin Lane residence.
- 1430 hrs – An officer assisted Westborough Police with an arrest at the police station.
- 1927 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Boston Road business.
Monday, May 01, 2017:
- 0008 hrs – ARRESTED: A Millbury man was charged with OUI Alcohol and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
- 0830 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Metcalf Lane residence.
- 1601 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 1650 hrs – ARRESTED: A Cranston, RI man was arrested after he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Fall River District Court.
- 1921 hrs – Officers responded to the Senior Center on Cordaville Road to investigate a report of a disturbance at the building. The officer reported back that the involved parties had left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.
- 2013 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Middle Road residence.
- 2031 hrs – An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked at the Mary Finn School on Parkerville Road. The vehicle and operator both checked out ok.
- 2111 hrs – An officer investigated a report of suspicious activity in the area of Sarsenstone Way. The responding officer reported back negative findings.
- 2346 hrs – An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious motor vehicle that was parked in front of a Turnpike Road business. The vehicle and the operator both checked out ok.
Tuesday, May 02, 2017:
- 0341 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at the Cumberland Farms Gas Station on Turnpike Road. Upon their arrival, they observed that a (front) window had been shattered, and an audible alarm was sounding. Officers cleared the store and determined (with a manager of the business) that cigarettes and other items were taken from the business.
