Plan to stop by the library on June 10th, a week from Saturday. The Friends of the Southborough Library will be holding their annual Summer Book Sale. You can pick up some summer reading, a tote bag, or even CDs and DVDs.
If you have kids, bring them by to pick out one free book each.
The sale will run from 10:00 am-3:00 pm. (Setup begins at 9:00 am for anyone who wants to lend a volunteering hand!)
A large portion of funds raised are used to purchase free or discount passes for the community.
Proceeds are also used by The Friends for other items the library’s budget can’t cover, including many of their programs for children, teens and adults, plus equipment and furniture.
It’s also a great time to re-up your annual membership.*
*[I should note for readers who aren’t aware – I’m the President of the Friends of the Southborough Library.]
Is the library looking for book donations??
They are always welcome.
Hi Christine,
Information about donating books can be found on the Library Website
http://www.southboroughlib.org – (It’s also a good source for information about the library and its programs.). Thanks! Robin (library volunteer)
