Did you realize that Father’s Day is just a week from Sunday? If you didn’t, you may need to mark your calendar.
While you’re at it – The Trustees of Reservations hope you’ll make a note to to celebrate the day at Chestnut Hill Farm. Organizers pitch:
Keep it local and celebrate the fathers in your family by taking part in our Father’s Day Bluegrass BBQ celebration at your favorite community farm. Bring a picnic blanket and load up the kids for a summer evening on the farm. You’ll find local BBQ, your favorite beers and wines, and live music to keep the whole family happy.
Your ticket includes, food, lawn games, a visit with the farm animals, and live music. Beer and wine will be available for sale. Preregistration is required
The local BBQ will be from Firefly’s. And the Bluegrass is courtesy of Sparrow Blue.
That all takes place on Sunday, June 18 from 1:00 – 4: 00 pm.
The cost for TTOR members is $36 per adult and $12 per child 8 years old and under. For non-members, that’s $45 each and $15 per kids 8 and under.
