On Sunday, the community is invited to attend a a complimentary workshop to explore options for conserving family land. Participants can hear from conservation experts and other Southborough landowners who have successfully conserved their properties.
The event is sponsored by the Southborough Open Land Foundation with support from the Open Space Preservation Commission and the Sudbury Valley Trustees.
“Conservation Options & Planning: A Workshop for Landowners” will be held on Sunday, June 25, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm at the Community House (28 Main Street.)
Advance registration is requested by this Wednesday, June 21st.*
Scheduled presenters are:
- Steve Sloan, Owner of Cambridge Consulting, a firm that helps protect natural areas, farmland and historic sites across Massachusetts
- Frederica Gillespie, Southborough Open Space Preservation Commissioner
- A panel of Southborough landowners who have successfully conserved their properties
