The Southborough Library’s next “Crafternoon” session takes place next week. Crafter Mandy Roberge will guide patrons creating their own “sculpey” pens and keychains.
Sculpey is the kind of clay used in the craft. I don’t know precisely what Roberge has in mind for keychains. But I found some examples I found online of both keychains and sculpey figures that could be used for that purpose. (The images were shared on flickr by (= dana <3 J.M =))
The series is geared towards teens. But one of the Library’s promotions for this event welcomes ages 10 to adult.
The free craft session takes place on Wednesday, July 26 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Registration is not required to participate.
There will be one more Crafternoon taking place later this summer:
August 9 – Henna Tattoos
(Program for 12-19 year olds)
Henna art is Roberge’s main area of expertise. You can see examples on her website, here. In this session, patrons can create their own hand designs to pencil onto their skin.
