Mr. Kolenda and members of BOS. After checking the BOS agenda on MySouthborough site for Nov. 21, No mention of joint committee with rec. comm. was mentioned. How were so many people notified of this, and how were they contacted. I would appreciate a response.
I’m confused by this comment on several fronts. It was listed on the blog on 11/20, not to mention previewed in a post that I ran the prior week. Also the blog is mine and my responsibility. If it hadn’t been listed on the blog, that would’ve been my issue not theirs. Their responsibility is having it listed on the Town website. And I always include the caveat that if people want the updated information they should check the town website with the link. The agenda was posted on the town website more than 48 hours in advance of the meeting, meeting the open meeting law requirements. And anyone who is signed up on the town website to be notified when there are meetings for those committees should have received an email alert when the BOS agendas were posted last Thursday. I know, I did.
