Almost 1,000 runners and walkers took time out of their Thanksgiving morning over to participate in the 11th annual Gobble Wobble.
As usual, the 5k race sported a mix of serious runners and those trotting for fun.
There was also a wide range of ages. Out of 895 runners, 76 were listed as under 10 years old and almost 150 in the 50+ group. You can find the race results here.
Another 78 participants took on the 2 mile walk. And that doesn’t include participants in the fun run for ages 3-11. (It also doesn’t include all the 4 legged participants and those enjoying the jaunt from their strollers.)
As has become a tradition, several participants sported festive attire. I saw a few runners shaking their tail feathers (or tutus). And there were more than a few turkey hats on display.
Sadly, this year’s photos aren’t anything to brag about. But I’m sharing the few I have to give you a feel for the event.
