This Saturday, December 2nd, the Southborough Library will host its annual kids party to trim the Christmas Tree.

That morning, kids in town are invited to make and hang their own ornaments.

The event is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library. The group will be raising funds that day through its annual Holiday Book Sale.

The kids party takes place downstairs in the Children’s Room and Eaton Room (back meeting room). Both rooms are filled with craft stations. After crafting decorations, the kids are encouraged to head upstairs to hang them on the tree.

Kids can also stop into the downstairs Book Sale Room from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm for one free book per child.

The party is the perfect launching pad for Santa Day. Families park at the library for the party, then cross the street at noon to watch the helicopter landing on St. Mark’s field.

The kids’ tree trimming party is from 10:30 – 1:00 pm. (But, I’ve been told that the crafts will stay out for another few hours.)
