Police seeking man suspected of connection to Southborough robbery

Right: The SPD released the photo of a man they are seeking in connection with the November 27th robbery of a business in town.

Over a month ago, $15,000 – $20,000 worth of comics were stolen from Hall of Comics on Route 9 in Southborough. This week, police released a surveillance photo of a man who allegedly sold one of the stolen books.

The Southborough Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the attached photograph.

On November 27, 2017 at approximately 0015 hours, The Hall of Comics located at 3 Turnpike Rd. was broken into. The suspect(s) stole approximately 175 comics valued at $15,000-$20,000.

The male in the attached photograph was captured on surveillance selling one of the stolen comics at the Time Capsule located in Cranston, RI the next morning.

Please contact the Southborough (Massachusetts) Police Department at 508-485-2121 with any information that could lead to the apprehension of the suspect(s).

Given that he stole comic books, I’d say ‘check the basement’ for starters.
