Fay School is hosting another “Saturdays at Fay”. The entertainer has changed since I last posted about the series. The school will now feature Southborough’s own Debroh Costine. The puppeteer will treat kids to her award winning show, “A Woodland Cinderella”
The Fay series offers monthly fun free programs for young children. This specific event is geared to 3-6 year olds.
On Saturday, March 10th, at 10:00 am, both boys and girls should enjoy Costine’s take on the fairy tale. Her website describes:
Cinderella is a fairy who lives with her stepmother and stepsister in an enormous old tree in the forest. The King of all woodland fairies wants his son to marry a fairy princess, but none can be found. The Prince is looking for someone who is kind and good. The mean stepsister is sure that having the most “stuff” makes her the best. So the King hosts a great ball and commands that every single fairy maiden in the land must attend. He is hoping that a fairy princess will come, and he knows the secret to identifying a true fairy princess!
The puppet show is open to the public, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited so please visit fayschool.org/saturdays to register.
The event takes place at Fay School’s Primary School. (Please use the East Entrance at 23 Middle Road for access and parking.)
This is the third event of the series this school year. Save the date for one more program coming up this spring:
April 21 – Big Joe the Storyteller
Join Big Joe the Storyteller for a show filled with tales from around the world that are all about spring. Meet a boy who plants flowers, a boisterous bear, a tricky turtle, a silly sheep, and a buzzing bee. The stories will be warm and wonderful like the season itself and sure to make you smile! [Note: This event should be geared for 2-8 year olds, as most of the series is.]
Registration opens Thursday, April 5
