Boy Scout laws include the dictates to be helpful and kind. Those are two of the qualities Troop 92 exemplified again this year when they worked to raise funds for local causes.

The Southborough troop held its annual bake sale booth at Heritage Day last fall. They decided to donate their earnings to the Southborough Food Pantry. The donation was $300.

In December, the Boys ran their annual Kids Shop sale. They opted to donate a portion of those funds, $400, to Southborough Youth and Family Services (SYFS).

Boy Scouts presented the checks to both causes on February 14th. (Pretty good Valentine’s Day gifts.) The troop contributed photos from the ceremonies.
