The Southborough Library is hosting another “Art in Bloom” by the Southborough Gardeners this spring. The exhibit pairs students’ artwork with floral interpretations by members of the Gardeners.
This year, the floral artists are partnering up with Southborough 4th-8th graders from Neary and Trottier instead of high schoolers.
(That makes it fitting that their flyer features artwork by a Trottier student, Ula Bazikas.)
The exhibit will open with a reception the evening of Thursday, April 12th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm with light refreshments offered. Admission is free and open to the public.
The display will remain through Saturday, April 14th. (Though, based on past experience, I wouldn’t wait until the end of the day on Saturday to drop in. Throughout that last afternoon, participants are known to collect their contributions.)
The event isn’t annual, but it also isn’t new. You can check out the last two exhibits (featuring Algonquin Artists) here: 2016 and 2013.
