Last year, residents hosted an Art Show at the Community House to benefit New England Center for Children. It was successful enough for them to turn it into an annual event. The public is invited to join them this Friday, May 4th.
The reception is free to attend. Funds will be raised through the silent auction of the art on display:

For those inspired to bid and buy, every dime raised through the silent-auction style sale will support The New England Center for
Children’s on-campus student activity center, art programs and partner classrooms in public schools across New England.
On Friday night, you’ll get at chance to see the art up close – and maybe even speak with some of the artists.
This year’s silent auction includes paintings, photography, jewelry, accessories, monoprints, and collages. In addition to works of professional artists, it includes some items by NECC student artists.

The event will again be held at the Community House (28 Main St). The reception opens at 7:00 pm. The program begins at 8:30 with a close to the silent auction bidding at 8:45 pm.
