Biergarten offers free family fun at Chestnut Hill Farm – Friday thru Sun (Updated)

Above: TTOR has teamed up with a local brewer to host popular European style outdoor beer gardens. This weekend, the family friendly festivities will be held at Chestnut Hill Farm (image left from Notch Brewery website, right cropped from contributed photo of recent event in Dover)

This Friday through Sunday, Chestnut Hill Farm will be converted into a “Biergarten” – aka Beer Garden. Admission to the festivities will be free (though refreshments won’t be).

The three day festival centers around Notch Brewery’s locally crafted “low alcohol” beer. The Trustees of Reservations will also host other food vendors and sell their own. Organizers are stressing – please don’t bring your own food:

The more beer and food sold, the more Chestnut Hill Farm benefits, and the more fun events we can bring to the community!

But there’s more on tap for the weekend than food and drink. There will also be games/activities, music, and even a run. And, the public is encouraged to enjoy the farm’s trails while they’re there.

TTOR describes:

We are the first, exclusive outdoor partner to host Notch Brewing’s new Traveling Biergarten which will feature outdoor seating, authentic ceramic steinkrugs, and their acclaimed session (low alcohol) beer served from a custom-designed ‘mobile tap room’ van. Each experience will be designed to highlight the unique character, history, and natural beauty of our sites and include family-friendly activities, local food, refreshments, and entertainment for all ages.
