With the 4th of July holiday behind us, some families may finally be turning their attention to summer camps. If you haven’t booked any for your kids yet – it’s not too late.
Southborough Recreation is offering its usual summer programs. You can find all of the camp offerings – and sign up for most – here. You can also find Registration forms here. If you have questions, you can check out the the Recreation Department’s website or call 508-229-4452.
Here’s a reminder of what they have to offer this summer – including specialty camps, sports camps, half day camps and CIT programs for pre-K through 9th grade.
The South Union Building will host specialized one-week offerings with a scientific bent. Prices ranging from $165-$220 for the half day camps. (For details, click thumbnail right):

Kids ages 2.9 to 1st grade can enjoy the half day camps at Finn School again this summer. The camp has weekly themes and special visiting guests. (Those are listed on the 2nd page of the flyer below right.)
The camp for grades 2-6 adds field trips to the themed fun. The older camp has relocated from Woodward to Trottier for this summer. They’ll still bring in the Slip n’ slide and Inflatables for some water fun. But expect some changes from the traditional offerings. The new venue will offer access to:
- Tennis and Pickle Ball at Neary Courts
- Volleyball
- Archery
- Fishing by the Dam
- Track and Field events
- Playground at Neary
Tweens and Teens entering grades 7 – 9 can take part in the CIT program offered at both the Finn and Trottier camps. The program provides leadership opportunities while also offering some fun. (Click here for more on that.)
