It’s not just Southborough residents who enjoy our town’s green spaces. Those passing through often admire the views. Yesterday, a flock of geese took advantage of the reservoir along Middle Road.
Chris Robbins shared photos with the following explanation:
Today on Middle Road at the reservoir cross-over, the attached photos capture 35+ geese sunbathing, grooming and chatting up a storm about their next flight were assembled in a unique formation.
It’s as if they were at their own personal spa on this beautiful day.
Drivers were slowing down their cars just to have a glimpse of this rare gathering in our own back yard.
Looking closely at one of the pics, I noticed old friends in the background – a swimming swan and what looks like a cormorant on a rock ( like one captured on the blog by Susan years ago).
