On Wednesday, New England Center for Children hosted a celebration with representatives from Dunkin Donuts. The Southborough based institute had reason to celebrate. DD presented a check for $214,400 to support the center’s work for children with autism.

For the past twenty-one years, local Dunkin’ Donuts business owners have hosted and participated in the Carlos Placido Dunkin’ Donuts Golf Classic for Autism and have raised over two million dollars to support The New England Center for Children. The 2018 Golf Classic was held on Monday, June 4 and raised over $214,400 for the Center. This year, 124 golfers participated in the Golf Classic at the Franklin Country Club, including Dunkin’ Donuts’ former and current CEOs, Nigel Travis and Dave Hoffmann respectively. . .
The funds raised by Dunkin’ Donuts and the annual Golf Classic support The New England Center for Children’s mission to transform the lives of children with autism through education, research and technology. For more than 40 years, The New England Center for Children has been focused on educational research and providing effective, evidence-based services for children with autism.
To cap off the celebration, DD employees held a donut decorating activity for NECC students.
