The Southborough Open Land Foundation is bringing back a raptor expert for a public show and tell at the Southborough Library.

Tom Ricardi is a retired Fish and Game Warden with more than 30 years experience, is a licensed game rehabilitator and breeder. He is the founder and operator of the Massachusetts Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Facility in Conway.

Last year when he visited, Ricardi brought a barred owl, peregrine falcon, and golden eagle. (Scroll down for a better pic of his owl posted by Emily Williston Memorial Library.)

SOLF expects the presentation to be interesting and informative for adults as well as children.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 15, at 2:00 pm at the Southborough Library, on the main floor. No registration is necessary for the free public event.
