Here is a selection of the committee and board meetings for the week along with my selected highlights from the agendas. All these meetings are open to the public, so you’re welcome to stop on by.

  • Board of Commissioners of Trust Fund, 8:00 AM @ Town House, Treasurer Collector’s Conference Room, 17 Common St (agenda) Agenda Highlights: Discuss Community Fund and any holiday funding for COA or Youth and Family Departments
  • Metrowest Regional Transit Authority, 11:30 AM @ 15 Blandin Ave, Framingham (agenda) Agenda Highlights: Vote on incremental fare increases
  • Library Board of Trustees, 6:00 pm @ Southborough Library, Eaton Room, 25 Main Stt (agenda) Agenda Highlights: Library Staff Space discussion; Strategic Planning Community Survey; Capital Planning update
  • Postponed – Economic Development Committee, 7:30 pm @ Southborough Town House, EDC Office, 17 Common St (Although EDC’s agenda was submitted to the Town Clerk’s office in advance, through a technical glitch in the Town Clerk’s office, it wasn’t correctly posted to the Town House website. Therefore the meeting will have to be rescheduled under Open Meeting Law restrictions.)

  • Zoning Board of Appeals, 7:00 pm @ Hearing Room, Town House, 17 Common St (agenda) Agenda Highlights: Continued hearings on 154-156 Northborough Rd, 22 Main St, 120 Main St, and 2 East Main St; 97 Main St – applicant requesting to withdraw application without prejudice – Broadcast live and replayed by SAM*

*Southborough Access Media will broadcast the Planning Board and ZBA meetings live on Verizon-37 and Charter-192. The Board of Selectmen meeting will be recorded for delayed broadcast. Click here to see this week’s schedule with rebroadcast times. (Videos are also usually made available through their YouTube channel by the following morning, though delayed broadcast meetings can take longer.)

Updated (9/17/18 1:55 pm): The revised BOS packet had the updated agenda and the new minutes attached. But I realized that it didn’t include the other 34 pages of materials that were included in the initial packet.

just reading the BOS agenda for up coming meeting, could I ask why they are approving minutes dating back to April, 2018 That is 5 months ago, I thought they were to be approved in a timely manner under state laws.

why are we paying a town administrator if his answer to you ( Beth) was he wasn’t sure what happened, who is watching the store?
