Updated (9/17/18 1:55 pm): The revised BOS packet had the updated agenda and the new minutes attached. But I realized that it didn’t include the other 34 pages of materials that were included in the initial packet.
just reading the BOS agenda for up coming meeting, could I ask why they are approving minutes dating back to April, 2018 That is 5 months ago, I thought they were to be approved in a timely manner under state laws.
I expected that Town Counsel’s announcement to the ZBA about timely minutes would spill over to other boards behind on taking care of minutes business. I was surprised to see last week that when the first packet for tonight’s meeting was posted that it had more recent minutes and didn’t take care of that. I followed up with Town Administrator Mark Purple. Purple responded that the minutes were ready for approval and he wasn’t sure what had happened. The agenda and packet were updated to include the missing minutes.
I followed up again to point out that the 4/2 meetings don’t recap the joint meeting with the Advisory Committee. It seemed the inference was that those contents would be in the Advisory minutes. But the 4/2 meeting seems to be the only meeting that Advisory didn’t post timely minutes for. Purple said he would follow up with Advisory.
why are we paying a town administrator if his answer to you ( Beth) was he wasn’t sure what happened, who is watching the store?
