The Southborough Gardeners club is holding its big annual fundraiser. This year, the popular Guest Day event will spotlight “Floral Magic for the Holidays”.
Senior Associates from the Museum of Fine Arts will demonstrate making “stunning arrangements for your holiday events”.
As at past events, some lucky winners will get to take the designs home. Guests will also enjoy the traditional holiday tea. And it’s always touted as a chance to get in some early holiday shopping.
Continuing the change made last year, Guest Day will be held at Trottier Middle School on a non-school day – this Saturday, November 10th. (Sorry for the short notice. I lost their email in my overcrowded inbox!)
You can get the tickets at a discount rate if you purchase them in advance. The funds support the group’s support of town beautification and education.
Below is the announcement with more details:
With the holiday season soon approaching, the Southborough Gardeners invite you to attend their annual November Guest Day! This year’s program entitled “Floral Magic for the Holidays” will be designed by three Museum of Fine Arts Senior Associates and will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm at the Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Rd. in Southborough.
Doors will open at 9:00 am where attendees can enjoy a Holiday Boutique featuring numerous gift items handmade by the Southborough Gardeners. You will then experience a floral design presentation by MFA Senior Associates, which will begin at 10:00. Following the presentation, a raffle will be held to win the floral designs. The morning will then continue “revisiting” the Holiday Boutique, and a complimentary holiday tea will be offered featuring member-made tasty sweets and savories!
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Proceeds for this event will benefit town beautification and education. Please contact Danielle O’Connell, the program chair, for tickets and further information at 508-341-3477.
