Bradford D. Nickerson, 82, of Southborough, died peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Oaknoll Healthcare Center in Framingham.
He was the beloved husband of Judith M.(Hicks) Nickerson for over 56 years.
Brad was a graduate of Wellesley High School, class of ’54 and earned his associate degree at Newton Junior College. He was also a Navy veteran, serving in between the Korean and Vietnam Wars. For many years he worked for Honeywell as an electronics supervisor, retiring in the mid ’90s. Brad enjoyed camping and traveling, especially the many family trips he and Judith took to Disney World. He also enjoyed a good cigar as he was a cigar connoisseur. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family, whether it be his children, grandchildren or great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Bradford D. Nickerson, Jr. and his wife, Christine of Byron, N.Y.; Susan T. Moore and her husband, Robert of Natick; Robin Belmonte and her husband, Robert of Shrewsbury; Tracy Nickerson and Todd A. Nickerson both of Southborough; Diana Baril and her husband, Steven of Hopkinton; his grandchildren, Sean and Kevin Nickerson; Krista Kugler and Robert Moore; Curtis and Leigh Belmonte; Chloe Baril; 3 great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Ramona Kugler; Cora Moore; and his brother, Nathan Nickerson of Maine.
