Kenneth C. Farrar, 75, of Southborough, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the UMass- Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Diana L. (Gagnon) Farrar.
Born in Milford, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Glenna (Chapdelaine) Farrar and was raised and educated in Upton.
Ken worked for General Electric for 13 years and then for General Motors for 10 years. He then became an Antique Dealer specializing in antique toys. He was renowned as Ken the Toy Man in shows all over the North East, such as Brimfield and Hershey, Pa.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Debora Lee Rock and her husband, Robert, of Westborough; one son, Brian Scott Farrar and his wife, Karen, of Leominster; two brothers, Clayton Farrar of Grafton and Wayne Farrar of Florida; one sister, Pamela Larter of Woodville and three grandchildren, Anthony Bombard, Ashley Dauphinais and Brittany Dauphinais. Ken also had several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, at 10:00 A.M. in the Pickering and Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main, Westborough. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Upton, will be private.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 7 P.M.
