The latest newsletter chronicling progress on the police and fire complex is out. According to the January report, one piece of the project is behind schedule but the targeted end date remains the same.
The newsletter covering work for the month of January labeled the project as 43% complete. As of the last change to the schedule, the end date for general contractor CTA’s work is July 10th of this summer.
Under the January report’s schedule update, the Owner’s Project Manager notes:
At this time biggest schedule concern is that the main building slab is behind schedule by almost 3 weeks. P. DuRoss, CTA’s Project Executive is aware of this and indicated that the end date should not be affected. The project team is awaiting a revised schedule and will be following up with CTA to understand how they will recover this time.
The above schedule note is the only item listed as an “Issues/Concern” in the report.
