  • Exciting Womens’s Circle (Senior Center Program) (11:30 am) @ Arturo’s Restaurant, westborough: A social group for women through the Senior Center. New members always welcome. The group meets monthly on Tuesdays. This session: Arturo’s Restaurant for Lunch—Meet at the restaurant at 11:30 or at the Senior Center if you want to share a ride.
  • Sticks and Pucks at St. Mark’s (1:00 – 1:50 pm) @ Gardener Rink, St. Mark’s School: The rink will be open to Southborough residents for free “sticks and pucks” skating. Helmets are required. No skate rentals – so bring your own equipment. For details, see dedicated post
  • Knitting Club (Senior Center Program) (1:00 – 2:00 pm) @ The Southborough Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Rd: Bi-weekly gathering coordinated by Helen Varney. Come join a wonderful group of ladies working on their own creations and discussing community projects. Stop by for a cup of coffee/tea and visit with the group or join right in!   • Simple Sewing Crafternoon (3:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Note: This teen and tween event is at full capacity. (For details, see dedicated post.)

  • Bowling (Senior Center Activity)(1:00 – 2:00 pm) @ Sawyer’s Bowladrome, 13 Blake Street, Northborough: Organized by the Southborough Senior Center’s Trailblazers. Meet with other active Southborough seniors for a few Strings of candlepin bowling. You can sign up for one or all four dates.   • Jedi Adventures (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Jungle Jim is bringing Jedi Adventures to the library! Young Jedi trainees will learn the way of the force with this fun-filled program. All ages are welcome for the free event. Registration is not required. This program is sponsored by Fay School. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Southborough Genealogy Club (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: This is an informal group meeting where you can learn and share tips about resources for researching family history. This monthly event is free and open to the public. Bring your laptop, log into Ancestry.com, and join in! If you have questions, contact carol.colaianni@comcast.net.

  • Chess program at Library (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: The Southborough Library is continuing its Saturday Chess program for players ages 12+ who are interested in learning beginner chess skills. It meets on Saturdays twice a month. (You can learn more in the initial post from when it launched in the fall.)
  • Light Up Sledding (4:30 – 8:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm, Chestnut Hill Road: This event is weather permitting and sadly the forecast again looks less than ideal. To see if that changes closer to the date, you can check their Facebook page for the latest sledding conditions.
