Here’s another good excuse to eat out on Wednesday. The community is invited to take help youth pursuing a very worthy goal.
Saint Matthew’s Church is raising funds for its 15th Annual Mission Trip. 50 high school students and adult volunteers will head to Mississippi on July 27 for a week of service:
During our time there, we will staff a Soup Kitchen, host a 5 day camp for underprivileged children, visit a Veteran Retirement Community, build ramps for disabled veterans and build bunk beds for foster children. Each year we raise funds through car washes, bake sales and yard clean ups.
The church is working with Bertucci’s in Westborough to hold a Dining for Dollars fundraiser on Wednesday June 12th. If you already have dinner plans that night, the event also covers lunchtime orders. The restaurant will be open from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm. You can check out their menu here.
Any in dine in or carry out orders at Bertucci’s will benefit the fundraisers – with 25% of your bill going to the cause. Just be sure to print or show this flyer digitally so that your order is counted. (Click here to open the printable flyer.)
