Chestnut Hill Farm is celebrating their beautiful strawberry crop this weekend. The Trustees of Reservations are putting on a Strawberry Festival at the Farm.
The event isn’t free, but in addition to supporting CHF and other Trustees properties, the fee buys you into some fun and yums at the farm.
The Festival is this Sunday, June 23 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Registration is on site.
Try to get there on the earlier side, since admission comes with a free strawberry shortcake, but only while the shortcakes last. That’s just part of the fun:
This festival includes activities for all ages including strawberry-themed kids’ crafts and outdoor games, strawberry face painting, strawberry shortcake eating contests, artisan vendors, touch-a-tractor, local food and beverages, live bluegrass music from Wide Open Spaces, the ever-popular “chicken plop bingo,” animal cuddling, and more. The farm stand will also be open for fresh produce, snacks, drinks, and local products.
The day promises hours of fun for kids and adults! There’s so much in store for children, and you can relax as you listen to live music while enjoying a Jack’s Abby craft beer with a Trustees burger or delicious BBQ. Then browse our vendors’ selections for some beautiful, handmade items and tasty treats!
Attendees will receive a free strawberry shortcake with admission (while our donated shortcakes last!)
All proceeds from our events help support the running of our nonprofit farm and its community events. Thank you for your support!
For TTOR members, entry costs $6/child and $9/adult capped at $24 per family. For non-members, entry will cost $10/child and $15/adult capped at $30 per family.
