The 28th Annual Falconi Family Memorial Golf Outing takes place on Monday, September 16. 100% of the proceeds support the Southborough Senior Center.
Once again, the tournament will take place on the Riverside Course at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough.
The Senior Center is looking for your help – either by registering or by sponsoring the event.
If you are interested in promoting your business, or supporting the center, you can sponsor a hole, donate a raffle prize, or make a cash donation.
So why do they need your money? The Senior Center explains:
Where does the Money Go?
There are over 1600 seniors in Southborough. 100% of all contributions go to support and improve their quality of life:
- Meals for care givers, people recovering from injuries or illness, recent hospital patients, etc…
- Emergency relief funds for seniors during crisis; unforeseen expenses, major repairs, or short term financial problems.
- Grocery gift cards to buy food freeing up money to pay bills.
- Program funding; supplementing summer BBQ’s, Bingo, Lunches, Entertainment, and Holiday Parties, etc…
- Seminars and training events, such as Healthy Living, hot topics, etc…
- Supplement Senior Center kitchen supplies
- Fund bus trips to movies, theater, and foliage tours, etc.
The funds raised go to Friends of the Southborough Council on Aging, a 501 (c) 3 Tax Exempt Organization.
