The Southborough Summer Concert series invites you to come on out and reminisce to the oldies of the 50s – 90s. (Although, positioning 90s as “oldies” is making me feel my age.)
A week from Wednesday, The Reminisants will play on the Neary outdoor stage. That’s 6:00 – 8:00 pm on July 24th.
What started out as a bi-weekly series earlier this summer is now tightening its pace. The next three concerts will be weekly. That leaves no room for rain dates for this concert or the next.
As always, the concerts are free. But you’ll want to bring your chairs/blankets plus a wallet for dinner and/or a treats. The Town posted what to food trucks expect next Wednesday: Snappy Dogs and Uhlman’s Ice Cream.
The band is another returning act to the summer series. Thanks to Southborough Access Media, that means you can listen to what the band sounded like when they played in the 2015 series:
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the rest of the summer. The remaining schedule for the 7th season is:
July 31 – Paxton Crossing (playing a variety of genres)
August 7 – Slo Grass (playing acoustic Americana bluegrass)
Is their a concert Wednesday night 14th?
Unless weather interferes, yes. Here are the details: http://wp.me/ppljI-tb6.
Your question brought to my attention that it was missing from my events of the week and didn’t come up under events posts! I’m in process of fixing both of those.
Is there parking for tonight’s concert??
Sorry, that I missed this comment. I’m not sure why you would wonder about parking at that location. Hopefully, you attended and enjoyed the concert – because, yes, there was plenty of available parking.
