Annette M. Labarre, 82, a lifelong resident of Southborough, passed away at her home after suddenly being stricken ill on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
Born in Marlborough, she was the youngest daughter of late George and Anna (Lacombe) Labarre.
Annette was a 1955 graduate of the former Peter’s High School in Southborough and earned an associate’s degree at Fisher College in Boston. She worked as an administrator for several area companies over the years, including Raytheon, and ending her career at Marlborough Hospital.
Annette liked to travel and was an active member of the Southborough Senior Center with whom she attended local concerts and museums.She spent her summer seasons in the Newport, RI area where she attended many piano and band concerts, and volunteered for the Newport Music Festival.
Annette is survived by her sister, Joan Gardner of Salt Lake City, Utah; several nieces and nephews, Arnold Gardner Jr, Steve Gardner, Gregory Gardner and Brent Gardner; Linda (Labarre) Wathen, Lisa Labarre, and Steven Labarre; Richard Labarre Jr and John Labarre. She also leaves many grand nieces and nephews across the country, as well as close friends and a sisters in law from the Southborough area.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Richard (Dick) Labarre, and George Labarre Jr.
Funeral services will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
