Fay School’s Saturdays Farmer’s Markets recently ended. So, it makes sense that they are kicking off the new season of “Saturdays at Fay” next week.
The series offers free, fun programs designed for children aged 6 and under along with their parents. Events are open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
On Saturday, November 16, at 10:00 am, the school is hosting “Singalong with Lindsay Dodd”:
Join children’s musician Lindsay Dodd for an engaging singalong concert that features delightful songs, finger plays, and movement rhymes. Each singalong is led by Lindsay as she sings and plays ukulele, banjo, and cajon drum–and she invites children to join in with a variety of percussion instruments. Using rainbow ribbons and silk scarves, children will flap their “wings” as they sing about bluebirds, and they’ll fly under the parachute as they help “pop some popcorn” and sing the popcorn song!
I found a the musician’s YouTube page. Below is an example of one of her singalong songs:
The event takes place at Fay School’s Primary School. Parking is available throught the East Entrance at 23 Middle Road. (Click here for a campus map.)
Registration is open, but space may be limited. To sign up, click here.
The Saturdays at Fay series will run bi-monthly this year. It’s too soon to sign up for the other upcoming shows. But you may want to mark your calendars.
Each takes place from 10:00 – 11:00 am on a Saturday:
