- 4th & 5th Grade Book Group (4:15 – 5:15 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Book club members read a book selected each month and then meet for discussion & activities. - Postponed to date TBD* Alcohol Awareness Forum (6:30 – 8:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School Library: APTO & Northborough-Southborough Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition are hosting a forum on Alcohol Awareness and Social Host laws. Presenters include local law enforcement, school administrators and District Physician Dr. Safdar Medina.

- Board of Health’s Flu Clinic – Southborough seniors and employees (10:00 am – 12:30 pm) @ Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road: Flu Clinic run by the Board of Health. During this time session, vaccines are available for Town employees and Southborough seniors. Seniors ages 65+ are eligible to receive a High Dose Flue Vaccine. Please bring your insurance cards and wear short sleeves.

- Open Meeting Law Training session (5:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Cordaville Hall/Southborough Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Rd: The session will be conducted by the state Attorney General’s Office. The Town is hosting the training session for board/committee volunteers and any interested members of the public. For details, see dedicated post.

- Southborough Gardeners Guest Day (6:30 pm) @ Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Rd: SG invites you to attend their annual November Guest Day! This year’s program is entitled “Holiday Transitions” by Senior Associates from the Museum of Fine Arts. For details and pricing see dedicated post.

- Southborough Genealogy Club (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: This is an informal group meeting where you can learn and share tips about resources for researching family history. This monthly event is free and open to the public. Bring your laptop, log into Ancestry.com, and join in! If you have questions, contact carol.colaianni@comcast.net.

- ARHS Girls Hockey’s Electronics and Appliance Recycling Fundraiser (8:00 am – 12: 00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School parking lot, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: Proceeds will help support the team which includes players from Algonquin, Marlboro, Hudson and Nashoba High Schools. - Senior Center Autumn Fair (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road: Fundraiser for Friends of the Council on Aging. Annual fundraiser to benefit the Friends of the Council on Aging. Raffles, attic treasures for sale, baked goods, knitted goods, and lunch.
- Exhibition: SciStories Medicine Illustrated (2:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Main Floor & Eaton Room: Opening Reception for the new exhibit featuring Scientific illustration by Southborough resident Sigrid Knemeyer. There will also be a display on the history of medical illustration and traditional tools of the trade.

The Alcohol Awareness Forum (11/19/19) is being scheduled another day to make it easier for more caregivers & educators to attend without having to choose between the ARHS Girl’s Soccer game tomorrow in Western MA & this important forum. New date TBD.
