As I recently posted, the district is looking for feedback on the Northborough and Southborough music program. The deadline came and was extended. The Study Group asked me to let people know they now have until Monday, March 9th.
Clearly that means they are really hoping for more participants. So, if you have a student in the public schools or are/were a student, here is a reminder of the details:
The survey is targeting all district parents, students in grades 6+ and alumni.
Messages emphasize they want all families to participate — not just those with kids in music electives.
The district’s PreK-12 Music Study Group asked me to help get the word out about the survey.
The administration announced:
The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough have established a PreK-12 Music Study Group to celebrate and evaluate our PreK-12 music program, highlight strengths, and identify opportunities for growth. An important part of the work is to gather input from our community through a survey. It is important for all families, regardless of your involvement in our music programs, to complete the survey. The survey is designed to be completed by middle school and high school students, alumni, and parents/guardians. We invite you to share this survey with any alumni contacts you may have. The survey will close on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020.
A member of the study group asked me to point out that survey questions are customized based on who is taking it (parents, students or alum). That means each family member should fill out the online form separately.
