Early morning break-in at Cumberland Farms

Southborough Police Department posted news of a break-in at the Cumberland Farms on Route 9 West near Westborough. They are asking anyone with relevant information to reach out:

Surveillance footage from break-in (from Facebook)On 03/23/20 at approx. 0050 hrs, Southborough Officers were dispatched to Cumberland Farms convenience store located at 365 Turnpike Road, to investigate a burglar alarm at the business. Upon their arrival, officers observed the front door of the business had been smashed open. A review of the surveillance tape showed an individual throwing a brick through the front door of the business; entering the store and then taking multiple cartons of cigarettes before leaving.

The preliminary description of the individual is:
Male; approx. 5’10”; approx. 160-170 pounds; all black outer layers of clothing; Pink undershirt; and wearing black gloves.
