The latest Town update shares that a third person in Southborough is confirmed as infected. It doesn’t sound like this patient was connected to the first two. Instead, an overseas trip is being pointed to as the possible cause. The Town issued an update this afternoon:
As of March 25, 2020, at 9:00 AM, there are three positive cases of COVID-19 for residents of Southborough. The most recent case concerns a resident who returned from travel overseas to a Level 3 country. With the reported cases, the Town reminds residents to adhere to DPH and CDC guidelines with regards to hand washing and social distancing. We need to do all we can to curb the spread of the virus.
