Southborough Fire and Police departments will be helping a very special visitor the day before Easter.
If you hear the fire truck horns on your street between 9:30 – 10:30 am this Saturday, hustle your kids to a window or door to see the Easter Bunny!
Later, visitors will be welcome to do a drive-by at the public safety station to wave hello. (Just make sure your kids understand that he won’t be getting close enough to give out high fives, hugs or candy.)
Here are the details issued by the Fire Department:
We are very excited to announce that Some-Bunny is coming to visit the Southborough Fire and Police Departments this upcoming Saturday, April 11! His day will start off with a ride in a fire truck between 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Firefighters will drive the Easter Bunny through various neighborhoods around town, so look for the Easter Bunny if you see a fire truck with flashing lights and horns honking.
Following his ride, the Easter Bunny will return to the Public Safety Building. From 11:00 am to 12:00 pm he will be available out front to wave to anyone who wishes to visit. To be safe, the Easter Bunny along with the Fire and Police Chiefs, are asking visitors to stay in their cars. Please proceed through the main entrance of the Public Safety building located at 32 Cordaville Road, drive slowly, and exit out through the Woodward School driveway. The Bunny will be very busy getting ready for Easter, so he has decided to not give out candy or Easter Eggs. Hope to see you there!
