Earlier this month, I shared that the date for screening Kindergarteners was indefinitely postponed*. That doesn’t mean that registering for Kindergarten is.
Finn School Principal Clayton Ryan asked me to share the following letter:
I am writing to inform all Southborough families that kindergarten registration packets are now available on our website: https://ma02216193.schoolwires.net/domain/713.
A child is eligible to start kindergarten in the 2020-2021 academic year if he or she is a Southborough resident and has reached five years of age by August 31, 2020.
As schools are currently closed, we will be processing registration packets virtually.
Once we receive your completed packet, we will reply to you with a confirmation email.
Please download, complete and assemble all forms listed below:
1. Student Registration Form
2. Parent Interview Form (2 pages)
3. Home Language Survey
4. Copy of your Child’s Official Birth Certificate
5. Copy of your Child’s Most Recent Physical Exam & Immunizations
6. Copy of a Parent/Guardian driver’s license or passportOnce your packet is complete, please email it to tking@nsboro.k12.ma.us.

*Kindergarten screening for possible special needs is required prior to October 31st. It was originally scheduled for April 29th, but is now on hold.
