Last week, I shared news about a liquor store hold up by a man with a gun in his waistband. At the time, only a description of the suspect was available. Today, the Southborough Police asked me to share new surveillance images of the suspect and a vehicle. They are hoping someone will be able to identify the suspect.

The SPD announced:

Southborough Police are currently looking to identify the individual in the following security camera footage from last week’s armed robbery at Bill’s Liquors on Turnpike Road. The Hispanic male, described as being approx. 6’2” tall; weighing approx. 185-200 lbs, and being approx. 25-35 years of age, was wearing a blue surgical mask and had a silver-colored handgun tucked into his waistband. After flashing the handgun and demanding money from the cashier, the suspect then drove away in a gray (older model) eco-line van parked nearby. Please contact either Lieutenant Ryan Newell or Detective Keith Nichols at (508) 485-2121. Thank you.

The alleged robbery took place on Friday, May 29th at approximately 4:45 pm.

What other facts were used to determine, apparently unequivocally, the perpetrator was Hispanic? The mask covers the face. Particularly in these times providing other information and context leading to that conclusion would be helpful.
