I’m keeping this post “pinned” here temporarily today. It’s just a friendly reminder that voting is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm today. This election, the entrance is through Trottier’s front doors (not the usual side entrance to the gym).
Scroll down for newer stories. For details on today’s election, including write-in candidates, see my post from yesterday.
Updated (6/16/20 10:57 am): For those who may be nervous about heading to the polls today, I’m sharing a comment from a reader on the situation. “Matthew” wrote:

You have to answer some Covid-19 health questions on the way in, but I was not told they were mandatory. No asked for a phone number.
No excuse not to vote, they have a fantastic socially distant process.
I presume the “30 voters” doesn’t include those who voted early by mail. (If you still have your mail in ballot and prefer to use it, don’t forget to drop it in the Town’s green mailbox today at the Town House.)

I believe that you mean only 30 voters had cast in person ballots. I don’t have recent numbers, but my understanding was that a lot of early voting applications were submitted weeks ago. So, I’m presuming the voting by mail was much higher than 30.
Still, thank you for the update and reassurance on the situation inside Trottier!
