The Southborough Senior Center will host three “Drive Through” programs next month. Unfortunately, they are limited to current members of the Friends of Council on Aging.*
Starting Monday, seniors who are members can sign up to enjoy two lunches and/or a floral design program. Since the events require picking up materials outside, they may be postponed by rain. (If that happens, the center will contact registered participants.)
Below are the details. Times refer to the window for pickup:
Drive Through Luncheon
Thursday, August 13th from 12:00 – 1:30 pm (Suggestion Donation: $5)**
The lunch provided by TJ’s Spirits from Ashland will feature a Stuffed Chicken Meal. If you sign up there will be a lunch waiting for you.
Drive Through Summer BBQ
Wednesday, August 19th from 12:00 – 1:30 pm (Suggestion Donation: $5)**
The lunch provided by TJ’s Spirits from Ashland will feature a Hot Dog and a Hamburger with all the fixings. If you sign up there will be a lunch waiting for you.
Fall Porch Pot in a Box
Thursday, August 27th from 12:00 – 1:30 pm (Suggestion Donation: $15)**
Days are getting shorter, which means fall is right around the corner. With fall comes a new wardrobe for you and your home. It’s time to think about your fall flower pots! Tina from Bemis Farms will be putting together kits that you can pick up at the senior center then plant safely at home with printed instructions. What will Tina include this year? It’s a surprise, but always a welcome one.
